MK Wallet Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the MK Wallet mobile application (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. The App is operated by Beijing Yunyou Technology Co.,Ltd (the "Operator"). Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the MK Wallet mobile application and its related services.

2. Information We Collect

The App follows the principle of data minimization and only collects the following information when necessary to provide core functionality:

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Wallet mnemonic, private keys, and transaction passwords: generated locally and stored encrypted in the secure chip / system secure storage; never uploaded to any server.
  • Sensitive permissions such as precise location, contacts, photo library, microphone, and camera: not collected.
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID): not used for advertising or tracking.

4. How We Use Information

We use the above information only for the following purposes:

  • Providing wallet and secure-chip binding functionality;
  • Security protection and fraud prevention (binding verification);
  • App update notifications (in-app update service);
  • User support and troubleshooting.

5. Storage and Protection

  • Chip binding information is stored in the MK secure chip and the device's secure storage area;
  • All network transmission uses encrypted channels (HTTPS / TLS);
  • We will never sell, rent, or use your personal information for advertising.

6. Sharing and Third Parties

Except in the following circumstances, we do not share your information with any third party:

  • Required by law or requested by a regulatory authority in accordance with the law;
  • Sharing explicitly authorized by you.

The App may integrate the following third-party capabilities (all running locally as SDKs, without sending business data back to their servers):

  • WalletConnect: for DApp connections;
  • System notification / push service: for update progress notifications.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • View the binding information stored on your device (in-app "Security Center");
  • Unbind the MK secure chip card (binding information on the device will be cleared after unbinding);
  • Uninstall the App to stop all information collection.

8. Protection of Minors

The App is intended for adult users and does not provide services to minors.

9. Policy Updates

If this policy is changed, we will publish the updated policy via in-app announcements or the official website and update the "Effective Date".
